Economy:

   Concentrated on

   agriculture like grains,

   vegetables, fruits,

   livestock, tobacco,

   and cotton.

Trade/Exports:

   Traded crops for things like shoes, lace, and

   thread.

   Corn, cotton, tobacco, grain, indigo, furs,

   rice, and lumber.

Geography:

   Coastal plains, peidmont plateau, and the Blue

   Ridge.

Major Industries:

   Manufacturing- ships and iron works

   Agriculture- corn, wheat, rice, and indigo

Climate:

   Winters were very easy to survive but summers

   were very hot and there were many diseases.

   They were still able to grow many crops.

   Babe Ruth, Harriet Tubman, and Frederick

Maryland  is a great place because of the freedom of religion and no restrictions. it is great for farmers because of the abundance of plants and the good soil and has shipbuilding. and is good because of the abundance of fish.
