Economy:

   Referred to as a 

   breakbasket colony because of all the

   crops produced like wheat.

   A farm was about 50-150 acres of land

   including the house, barn, yard,and fields.

Trade/Exports:

   Produced an abundance of crops like wheat,

   corn, livstock, iron ore, lumber, furs,

   textiles, and ships.

   They grounded wheat into flour in mills and

   then sent it to England.

Geography:

   Coastal plains, plateaus, and mountains.

   Land was full of fertile soil great for

   farming.

Major Industries:

   Wheat and corn

Climate:

   Warm summers and cold winters, but are still

   able to grow crops.

Celebrity/Important Residents:

   Scott Hancock.
